Retail Sales Associate, Design Consultant

Modern Sense Furniture is seeking a confident and design-driven Sales Associate to join our showroom team. This is more than a retail role, it’s an opportunity to blend sales with creativity. You’ll guide clients through their furniture journey while offering personalized interior design consultations, from space planning to product pairings.

What You Will Do

  • Welcome clients to the showroom and guide them from first visit to delivery.
  • Offer design consultations: space planning, product pairings, fabric and finish choices.
  • Learn the brands on our floor, from Bernhardt and Caracole to Stressless and Alf Italia, and explain the differences.
  • Follow up on quotes and special orders and keep clients informed.
  • Help keep the showroom displays looking their best.

What We Look For

  • Retail sales or interior design experience, ideally with furniture or home decor.
  • An eye for modern interiors and the ability to talk about them with confidence.
  • Comfort working to sales targets in a busy showroom.
  • Reliable, organized and good with people.
  • Available to work from our showroom at 1875 Wilson Ave, North York, including weekends.
