Materials
Paloma: Paloma is a slightly corrected leather with a combination of dyes and pigments that smoothes some of the leather’s structure (grain pattern). However, the grain structure of Paloma may vary slightly in some parts of the furniture, and minor colour nuances may also occur. Natural marks, scars, and insect bites remain and will appear in Paloma. A thin coat of lacquer gives Paloma some protection and simplifies cleaning, but Paloma does not have the same heavy-duty quality and protection as Batick and Cori. Due to its soft, natural, and comfortable expression, Paloma is a very popular choice.
Batick: Batick is a corrected, pigment-improved, and grain-embossed upholstery leather, which has had most of its natural marks removed. Batick may have a two-tone colour effect to liven up the surface. Batick is resistant to fading, although changes in colour will occur over time with use and exposure to light. A protective layer of lacquer simplifies cleaning. Simple cleaning, excellent utilization properties, and a favorable price make Batick a good choice.
Noblesse: Noblesse is the most exclusive quality leather offered by Stressless. A full-grain semi-aniline, it is dyed all the way through and has only a thin protective topcoat. This enables the leather to retain the natural softness and luster that characterises first-class furniture leather. A natural material like Noblesse retains its original grain and structure. Minor colour nuances and skin blemishes may also occur. Such individual details may lead to slight variations in different parts of the furniture. Although the topcoat provides a certain level of protection, Noblesse is the most delicate of the leathers used by Ekornes. It absorbs moisture easily and is more vulnerable to wear and tear, heat, sunlight, spills, and perspiration. Regular maintenance is important to maintain its attractive appearance.
Velaro: Velaro is a thick, full-bodied leather with an elegant grain and natural look. It is dyed through, with a natural surface that is only slightly corrected and lightly coated. A double-tone and slight tip shine effect, add both depth and brightness to the shades. The very light embossing on Velaro mitigates the grain variation along the leather’s surface, but some variations in grain pattern, natural marks and color nuances should be expected. Although robust, this leather remains very soft and sumptuous to the touch. A thin topcoat protection provides Velaro with some resistance to staining and simplifies cleaning, but Velaro does not have the same heavy-duty quality and durability as our more heavily pigmented leather qualities.
Daisy: Daisy is an exceptionally soft and comfortable fabric made from recycled bottles. The silky-soft fiber is weaved with a light structure and a soft pile. The harmonious colour palette has a nice sheen and play created by a weave with different nuances and structure. Daisy is a good choice if you are looking for a sustainable and strong fabric with a soft touch and easy maintenance.
Dinamica: Dinamica is a well-known micro fibre-quality fabric, with an appearance that resembles suede leather. It is soft and very comfortable, breathable and non-static. Easy to keep clean and highly wear resistant.
Calido: Calido is a wool fabric with an exclusive look and feels comfortable and soft next to your skin. The fabric is available in a diverse and exclusive colour palette. Wool is a natural fibre that breathes, making it feel warm when it is cold and cool when it is hot.
Grace: Grace is a hardwearing fabric made from syntetic fibres. The soft, silky texture provides a fine sheen and an attractive interplay of colours. It has a high wear resistance, long durabilty and is easy to clean.
Azalea: With a natural premium structure and elegant heavy weave, Azalea ticks all the boxes for high end living. With a stately feel and soft handle, this textured fabric instantly injects an element of grandeur and elevates all furniture categories. Available in neutral shades, which work well in all interiors. The focus on natural materials and neutral tones captures the exclusive feel. Produced in Turkey, utilising a high percentage of recycled materials, Lilly is a sustainable choice with a sumptuous and contemporary weave. Available in shades that will complement any décor. It works well on all our furniture and is a robust choice that is simple to maintain and will stand the test of time.
Marigold: Marigold is a rich bouclé fabric, perfect for adding a cosy and inviting feel to your home. Featuring a looped yarn that is tightly woven, elevated and smart, Marigold adds texture and tactility with a soft, warm finish. Crafted with densely woven, Italian wool-blend, this extravagant texture lends itself to recliners, sofas and dining chairs with an abrasion finish that is both practical and durable.
